Made for cars.
Capable of much more.

iFab Customs is a new Taree workshop with a clear focus, which is solving fabrication jobs properly.

Automotive fabrication is at the heart of what we do, backed by the machinery and workshop capability to take on CNC cutting, general fabrication and repeat production work.

Whether you're building a classic car, modifying a trailer, replacing a hard-to-find component or turning a rough idea into a finished part, we'll take the time to understand the job and work out a practical way forward.

We work in steel, stainless and aluminium, on everything from a single bracket through to repeat production quantities. Tell us what you need made.

Automotive fabrication

Fabrication for builds that don't come off the shelf

When the right part doesn't exist, doesn't fit or needs to work around a custom build, we can fabricate a solution around the vehicle and its intended use.

We work with classic car owners, enthusiasts, workshops and businesses on projects ranging from individual brackets and mounts through to larger driveline, suspension and chassis modifications.

  • 9-inch diff conversions
  • 4-link rear-end setups
  • Coil-over conversions and custom suspension
  • Engine swap brackets and mounts
  • Gearbox crossmembers
  • Chassis repairs and modifications
  • Custom brackets, plates and components
  • Trailer repairs and modifications

Every custom job is different, so we'll talk through the vehicle, the outcome you're after and any engineering requirements before recommending an approach. Engineering consultation can be arranged where it's needed.

CNC cutting and general fabrication

From one-off ideas to repeat production

Our CNC plasma cutting lets us produce accurate custom components for automotive, workshop, business and personal projects.

Anything from a single bracket or prototype through to larger quantities of repeat parts, in steel, stainless or aluminium.

  • Brackets, tabs, gussets and plates
  • Automotive and workshop components
  • Signs and decorative panels
  • Fire pits and outdoor metalwork
  • Prototypes and one-off pieces
  • Repeat and production quantities

Already have a drawing or template? Send it through and we'll take a look. If you're starting with an idea or an existing part, we can help work out what's needed.

The tools to turn an idea into a finished job

Our Taree workshop is being equipped for serious fabrication work, with the machinery to cut, turn, machine and weld in house.

Having these capabilities together means better control over how everything fits and comes together. From a small repair to a more involved custom build, the aim is the same: practical work, straightforward communication and a finished result made for the job.

In development

New options for classic Holdens

We're developing a range of components and conversion options for selected classic Holden models.

Our own vehicles are being used as templates as we work through the range. These products won't be released until we're happy with how they fit and perform, and as each one becomes ready we'll add more information here, with the potential for online ordering later on.

What we're working on

  • 9-inch diff conversion packages
  • Control-arm kits
  • Other hard-to-find components

Local fabrication backed by automotive experience

iFab Customs is being developed alongside Griffos Automotive, bringing dedicated fabrication capability into a business already connected with local drivers, workshops, car enthusiasts and classic car clubs.

The two businesses complement one another. Where it makes sense, the mechanical and fabrication sides of a project can be looked at together rather than treated as separate jobs.

While the iFab name is new, the approach is straightforward: listen carefully, give honest advice and build something suited to the job rather than forcing an off-the-shelf answer.

Why work with us

  • A local Taree workshop, not a middleman
  • Automotive-focused fabrication with the machinery to back it
  • Direct, straightforward communication
  • Practical advice based on the job in front of us
  • One-off, prototype and repeat production capability
  • Strong connection with Griffos Automotive and the local car community
